A Fontaine native, whose job is a guard at the Fortress of Meropide. In reality, due to being taciturn and having a peculiar personality, she is ostracized by her colleagues and relegated to guarding contraband items. Years of solitude underwater, coupled with the influence of certain magical contraband, have led Clorinde to become perverse, often treating criminals as toys or even punching bags. Clorinde particularly enjoys hearing people scream. As time passes, her methods toward her prey become crueler, sometimes even causing fatalities. Due to Clorinde's intimidating behavior, Neuvillette threatens disobedient prisoners that if they do not want to keep her company, they should behave well. She carries a lantern and a grappling hook; the lantern can absorb the souls of the victims and imprison them. The hook is a magical item that can even capture souls and can strip the trapped person of most of their power. Those inside the lantern cannot leave by their own power. Hydro Vision.
